OUR STORY
MORE THAN 80 YEARS OF HISTORY
Since its establishment, over 80 years ago, St. Mollerans GAA Club has developed exponentially.
When the club first formed in 1942, under the name St. Mollerans, it had no grounds, no clubhouse, no Juvenile branch and no field. Training was held in Bob Sheehan’s field and players togged off in the front room of Mrs Bridget Cleary’s house at 39.Saint Mollerans.
Presently, between the adult and Juvenile Clubs, across Football, Hurling and Camogie, our pitch caters to 22 separate teams and what has become clear to everyone involved, aside from the immense pride each of our members take in playing for their Club, is that we need to develop our existing facilities.Â
We must continue to strive to be better.
Anything less would be a dishonor to the legacy of those who first put the Club’s facility in place, in far more challenging times.
